Part-time Financial Aid Counselor, Student Financial Services
20 hour per week position working as part of the Student Financial Services Team. Primary responsibility for oversight of and managing all aspects of the Out of State Scholarship Programs. Also coordinates specific federal aid programs. Reviews and awards a traditional student population of approximately 400 students. Disseminates financial aid information to caseload of students and their families via written communication, in-person and via telephone. Participates in all events requiring a Financial Aid presence such as Accepted Students Days, Open Houses, Financial Aid Workshops, etc., requiring some weekend and/or evening work hours. Coordinates and communicates financial aid office events and procedures with other offices on campus. Requires Bachelors degree and Financial Aid experience. Technical Support Specialist, Student Affairs
Reporting to the Dean of Students, the Technical Support Specialist is responsible for providing end-user support, developing custom PL/SQL reports, and maintaining interfaces between applications. The incumbent is also responsible for testing, documenting and troubleshooting all software applications used within the Office of the Dean of Students. Applications include: Banner Housing module; Parking Ticket, Vehicle Registration, Incident Report Tracking systems; WaPac Card Access System; C-Bord meal plan system; PAVE judicial system; SchoolDude trouble tracking system; BadgeBuilder system; CWIS reports and technology in our new Student Center, opening this summer. Position requires PL/SQL programming with web applications; knowledge and understanding of Relational Databases; MS Office Suite, including strong Excel, Word, Outlook; project management skills; and strong communication skills. Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science or MIS. Minimum of 2 years database and/or report writing duties. Experience with SunGard SCT Banner helpful. Admission Counselor
This full-time position is responsible for all aspects of the Admissions recruitment cycle within an assigned geographic territory. Includes travel to high schools, college fairs. Meeting with prospective students, guidance counselors, parents. Assessing eligibility for admission to the College, including reviewing and clarifying submitted information, and explaining criteria/decisions to students and parents. Responsible for marketing and communication to prospective students who apply utilizing the web based application. Responding to requests for information with some telemarketing, and administrative functions. Position requires strong communication skills, including public speaking, and excellent organizational skills. Bachelor's degree required, and valid driver's license. Alcohol Wellness Educator
Reporting to our Dean of Student Affairs, this staff position is responsible for delivering effective campus-wide wellness education programs that support student learning and success. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and creative team player who will be responsible for raising the awareness of healthy choices and minimizing unhealthy behaviors. This includes developing and delivering programs on personal and community responsibility, judicious reasoning and decision making, self-improvement, alcohol abuse, illegal use of drugs, and stress management. Also includes teaching judicial sanction classes and guest lecturing in classrooms and to large groups. This is a Full time, 12 month position reporting to the Assistant Dean of Students. Master’s Degree in Counseling or related field is preferred. Bachelor’s required. Administrative Assistant, Campus Life
This new position supports the Director of our new Student Center, as well as our Director of Residence Life. In addition, assists other professional staff in the Office of Campus Life. Responsibilities include office management, reception, budget management, data entry, student/parent relations, meal plan management, and digital signage management. This position also supervises student employees. Position requires HS diploma, with Associates degree preferred, and 3+ years of office administrative experience. Requires excellent computer skills, including word processing, database, and spreadsheet expertise, with ability/desire to learn new applications. Also requires excellent customer service skills. Assistant Athletic Trainer
Curry College has an immediate opening for a 10 month, full time Assistant Athletic Trainer. This position reports to the Head Athletic Trainer. Responsibilities include assisting with the daily operation of the athletic training room and providing medical care, as well as practice/game coverage, for a variety of sports competing at the NCAA Division III level. This position involves the supervision and education of athletic training students. The successful candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s degree preferred), NATABOC certification, and be eligible for or already licensed in MA as an athletic trainer. 2-3 years of experience at the collegiate level is also preferred.
