The Physical Facility
The Curry College Campus at 20 North Park Avenue features eight lecture rooms (capacity 20 to 35 students each); two 17 station computer labs; a student reception area; kitchen; three administrative offices and administrative assistant’s work station area and a conference room.
Curry’s Technology Center has implemented a fiber optic backbone connecting all Curry campuses to a single network. This includes the removed campuses in Plymouth and Worcester, and employs a series of three T1 lines. These lines are linked to form the “Currynet” by a series of routers, bridges, and firewalls—which are also used to filter offsite traffic and insure the integrity of the network. The internal network is secured with virus protection software.

Programs and Instruction
The Department Chairs and Graduate Program Directors in Milton hold the responsibility for all curriculum and program development. The Department Chairs and Graduate Program Directors also recruit, select, assign, and review the faculty for all Curry campus locations, consistent with the policies and procedures for the rest of the College. The centralization of these efforts within the academic departments ensures quality and consistency, regardless of the location of program and course delivery.

Bookstore
New and used textbooks for all Curry campuses can be purchased online via the Campus Bookstore. If you do not see a listing for your course on line, or for students using book vouchers, please contact the Curry Bookstore by email at bookstor@curry.edu.

Library Services
Several departments work together to provide information technology systems, resources, and services to Curry’s branch campuses. These include the Levin Library, the Technology Center, the Department of Applied Technology, and the Media Center.
History
Curry College began offering classes in Plymouth in 1994. The goal of the College was to bring a liberal-arts based education with professional majors to the South Shore. This effort was initiated as a result of studies that indicated a scarcity of higher educational resources for individuals living in this geographic area. Over time, the demand has grown from primarily certificate-based offerings to undergraduate and graduate degrees. In 2000, Curry moved from Long Pond Road to a new location at 20 North Park Avenue and expanded its square footage from 5,000 to 11,000 square feet. The result is an attractive setting for teaching and learning.
The objectives of the Plymouth branch campus are to offer programming that allows students to both initiate and complete undergraduate and graduate programs that are currently offered at the Milton campus.
