The finance function plays a critical role in every organization.
Large or small, profit or non-profit, local or global – every
organization needs to manage its financial operations. Professionals in the field of finance are in high demand for positions such as credit and risk managers, treasury and cash management, and asset and investment management. Finance professionals manage any and all financial aspects of an organization. They obtain capital to run and grow businesses, manage risk, forecast and analyze financial data,
and create value for companies. Managers in corporate finance value companies for potential investment, merger, or acquisition and may secure or provide the financing to finalize the deal. Investment management occurs at both corporate and personal levels.
Finance is a complex field which requires specialized knowledge. Finance can be a highly rewarding career, both financially and professionally, for those with good problem-solving skills and analytical ability.
