Master of Education

Change the world...one student at a time.

Curry College Master of Education Graduate Heather Choate

As an educator in the 21st Century, you know that technological advances have changed the way we teach. Not long ago, it was inconceivable that a first grade teacher in Spokane, Washington could be the primary teacher of a first grade class in Kyoto, Japan. Similarly, it was once inconceivable that a college instructor could lecture to students from around the world while she sits at her kitchen table. This century has brought with it, and will continue to bring with it, exciting new opportunities for teachers, counselors, and trainers. Curry College’s Master of Education Program is designed for career changers and for experienced educators who recognize that progress will not only change the way we teach, but the way in which we view our entire education system.

As a student in Curry's M.Ed. program you will be able to focus in depth on your particular area of interest in the field of education by choosing one of four concentrations, three of which lead to DOE licensure.
