GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT RFB&D AND WAYS TO REQUEST AUDIO-RECORDING OF TEXTS

You can now download audio-recordings right to your computer (Windows only) without waiting to get the text on CD!!!! There is more information on RFB&D's AudioAccess technical support site or you can contact Laura Sabadini at AsstTech@curry.edu or 617-333-2262 for assistance.

You should be able to order most of your college texts through RFB&D.

Register with RFB&D to Request Audio-Recordings of Texts

If you cannot get material from RFB&D because they do not have it, please check with Laura Sabadini in the AT Center (AsstTech@curry.edu or 617-333-2262), and she can help you locate audio-recordings. The AT Center has some recordings that are frequently used on reserve for PAL students. Please have all the text information handy when speaking with Laura - you need the title, author, publisher, edition, and date of the book needed.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT HOW TO TAKE AN UNTIMED EXAM

We suggest that you have a conversation with your professor about the type of test or quiz that you will be taking so that you can make an informed decision about the best accommodations for your individual situation. Be sure to let your professor know that you will be taking your test or quiz in PAL at least one class period in advance of the test or quiz.

If your exam takes place after 4 PM, you must make the untimed exam request at least 3 days in advance so adequate proctoring can be arranged. Once you have decided that you will need an untimed test or quiz, please follow the instructions posted here.
