Professor David Miller is the recipient of this year's NETSL Award for Excellence in Technical Services.  This award is from the New England Library Association and specifically from the New England Technical Services Librarian section (NETSL). 

David received this award in recognition of his contribution to the field of library technical services. David's contributions to the field are widely known through his publications, service, and innovations in practice. This award consists of a beautiful certificate, which will be in display in his office.  David received this award during NETSL annual meeting on April 4th in front of more than 250 librarians from around New England.

Professor Miller also published a paper on "Indeterminacy and Performance Practice in Cage's Variations" in American Music, Spring 2009.
