Applied Technology Awards & End of Year Celebration Dinner Review
Katie Porter and Molly Hebb were given the challenge of planning the Applied Technology awards dinner and end of year celebration. This task was a part of their assignments for an independent study that they did with Deanna Gordon. The night of the dinner and end of the year celebration ended up going very well. There were approximately 25 students and faculty in the Applied Technology department that attended. Every attendee received at least two prizes, which were an Applied Technology t-shirt and pen. There were also awards and raffles that the attendees seemed to really enjoy. Pizza and dessert were served and everyone raved how good the pizza was. Thanks to Olympic Pizza in Hyde Park! There was music playing in the background. There was also an announcement made about the upcoming IT Club and there were about 5 students that showed interest in running for office for the new club. Overall, Katie and Molly did a great job planning the night along with Deanna Gordon and Maryann Gallant’s help. Thank you to all who came and celebrated with the AT department! Have a wonderful summer!
