Sports Telecast is a First

It was quite a fall for Curry TV Practicum students.  For the first time they took their multi-camera production skills out of the Hirsh TV Studio and into a remote production van as students televised the Curry vs. Endicott football game.

More than 15 students were involved in this massive sports production, from live directing to camera operators to play-by-play and on-the-field reports.

Students learned the logistics of setting up a full television production far away from the warm and friendly confines of the TV studio.  In fact, it was quite cold out there as Curry defeated Endicott on their way to a perfect regular season.

The telecast was a joint effort of CC8 and Milton Public Access.  The van, a remote production vehicle operated by Comcast, was used for the telecast.

The broadcast aired on CC8 and Milton Public Access and more games are anticipated in the future.
