The first meeting of Curry College's Public Relations Student Association was held on Tuesday Sept. 16th. The guest, Arthur E. (Skip) Perham, Marketing and Communications Manager for Comcast Sports New England, talked about the industry and his own journey getting to his current job.
Skip told the dozens of students present how he managed day-to-day marketing activity for Comcast New England's local programming including:

* New England Tailgate Show
* Tweeter Presents 4 Downs with Felger
One message Mr. Perham stressed was networking and even getting involved in charity volunteer opportunities. He said working on charities not only feels good, but puts you in a position to meet influential people in your chosen career field.
