Curry's undergraduate Education majors prepare students to work with children and their families in schools and other educational settings. Degree candidates’ understanding of children's physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and cultural development is enriched through coursework and several supervised experiences in the field.
Students who major in education have the opportunity to delve into the complexities inherent in all educational settings. They can deepen their own thinking about their lives as students and as teachers, and how their experiences impact their role as educators. Students have continuous opportunities to build upon their skills and talents in ways that support learning.
