Students may elect a minor in Studio Arts to complement their major in another area and to pursue the opportunity advance their techniques. The Studio Arts minor allows students to move through the basic techniques of visual art practice to more advanced skills in the upper level courses. This minor requires an accumulation of 15 credits.
The classes in this minor gives an added perspective to many majors. Students in the Studio Arts minor combine an interest in psychology for careers in art therapy and related fields. Education majors at all levels find studio arts practice a valuable addition to their skills.
