The sixth annual Blue Hills Writing Institute was held at Curry College in August 2007. It featured writer and director Dennis Watlington as keynote speaker. Watlington, author of Chasing America, addressed student questions about writing as a career.
Former Blue Hills Institute student, Lindsay Sproul, has published two stories and has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize.
The celebrated Nine-Month Memoir course, taught by Professors Sandy Kaye and Allan Hunter, began in September 2007 and runs through May 2008.
