Coyote Researcher Dr. Jon Way Visits Curry

Students and faculty attended a talk by coyote researcher, Dr. Jonathan Way, author of "Suburban Howls: Tracking the Eastern Coyote in Massachusetts."

Jon presented highlights of his long-term research of these often misunderstood canids.  He discussed capture techniques for wild animals, related his experience raising a litter of captive coyotes at the Stone Zoo, and explained the educational component of his work - a coyote-based curriculum unit of his creation.
