Melody White RN (Class of 2004) has opened PediPathways, Inc., a home-based, comprehensive comfort care program for infants, children, and adolescents facing a life-limiting illness. The program will be based in North Quincy. At a reception to mark the launch of the program First Lady of the Commonwealth, Diane Patrick, was a special guest and the keynote speaker was Dr. Paul Thayer of Wheelock College.
PediPathways will provide a specialized team approach to care, including assessment, consultation, timely pain and symptom management and a wide array of supportive services for the children and their families. PediPathways can be reached at 617-774-1350. The faculty and staff of the nursing division are proud of Melody’s entrepreneurial spirit and her focus on the needs of this vulnerable population.
Karen Daly (Class of 1985) is currently a PhD candidate at Boston College; she was inducted as a Fellow into the American Academy of Nursing in November 2006. This is one of the most prestigious honors in Nursing.
