Linda Caldwell and Linda Tenofsky (and G. Luke) published “Creating value-added linkages through creative programming: A partnership for nursing education” in The Journal of Continuing Education in Nursing.
Susan LaRocco presented Hear Our Voices: Men Discuss Their Careers in Nursing at the Eastern Nurses Research Society annual conference. She also received the Curry College Researcher of the Year Award.
Barbara Pinchera received The Promise of Nursing for Massachusetts Regional Faculty Fellowship from the Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association.
Marie Farrell, the first Chair of the Baccalaureate nursing program at Curry, was awarded an honorary Doctor of Science degree at commencement. She is the first nurse to receive an honorary degree from Curry College.
Don Anderson was certified in Medical-Surgical Nursing by the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses.
Maureen Murphy was elected to the Curry College Faculty Counselor position of Theta at large Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International.
