Nursing Faculty Member Gets Award

Dr. Susan LaRocco received the Member of the Year Award from the American Assembly for Men in Nursing at their 31st annual conference held in Portland Oregon. She is the only woman to have received this award. During her four years on the Board of Directors, she worked closely with the web master to initiate the AAMN web site. She is a frequent contributor to Interaction, the Assembly’s quarterly newsletter, and has presented at the conference in 2003 and 2006. Dr. LaRocco was also instrumental in creating a new brochure for the organization. She now serves on the nominating committee.
