Offered through the Division of Continuing Education and the Nursing Division, the Accelerated Nursing Program (ACCEL) was designed to respond to nursing shortages at the local and national levels and provides a route for students who want to make a career change into nursing by earning a second bachelor’s degree.  ACCEL is designed for qualified and highly motivated students who have already earned a bachelor’s degree in another field.  The accelerated and intensive structure of the program means that you can obtain a BS in Nursing in sixteen months.
