This annual recognition program is a heartfelt celebration of the nurses who display exemplary skills and compassion for their patients.
Over the past six years, Salute to Nurses has grown tremendously popular with area healthcare facilities and hundreds of nurses have been nominated by their patients and family members.
In more recent years, the program has honored an exceptional nursing faculty member who has made an impact on their students.
The Curry nursing program had encouraged students to nominate a teacher who has made a difference in their life.
