Sigma Theta Tau Award

The Theta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau has received the 2006 Showcase of Regional Excellence Award from Sigma International. This award recognizes outstanding achievement for collaboration with community: a sustainable project.

This award was given for the Chapter’s collaboration with Marina Place last spring offering a program on end of life issues to Sigma members and the nursing and social work staff of Marina Place. That collaboration will continue this year at the March 21, 2007 Spring Meeting.

The induction of new members into the Chapter will take place on Sunday, May 6, 2007 at 2:00 pm in the new Keith Auditorium at Curry College. A reception in the Parents’ Lounge will follow the induction.
