About the Department

At Curry College, the undergraduate major in psychology is designed not only to help students become educated people, but also to help them become more aware of their personal identities, appreciate the social and cultural context in which they live, examine their values, increase their skills in critical thinking, and use psychological concepts to enrich, expand, and explore their own and other people's lives.

Our program provides a rich, diverse, and fascinating course load taught by faculty who are dedicated and committed to the field of psychology and to our students. In addition, there are a myriad of opportunities for students to attain a competitive edge. For example, we offer an internship program with more than 50 locations from which to choose. Students also have the opportunity to conduct independent research with a faculty member, to take part in our teaching assistant program, and so much more!
