D.A. by day, D.J. by night

James Cooper, Curry College Class of 2004Sociology graduate James Cooper happily leads a double life.  By day, he works full-time for the Norfolk County District Attorney’s office as a motivational speaker and mentor in his role directing youth outreach to all 27 towns in Norfolk County.   “Coop” inspires young people daily with his dynamic presence and engaging personality, helping youth to find paths of success.  By night, he runs a D.J. business called “Urban Kinetiks” and as DJ "Kupah" he brings hip hop, rap and his dancing talents to audiences all around the Boston area.   Recently, Coop returned to Curry for Curry Connections and spoke to current Curry students about the great benefits of the internship experience that helped him land his job with the D.A.’s office.
