Curry College Honors Program is configured in two parts in order to address the particular educational difference between the first year and the sophomore, junior, and senior years:
-
First-Year Honors, open to Curry merit scholarship winners and to students whose high school record demonstrates a capacity for high academic achievement, provides first-year students an opportunity to form a learning community on a core topic with peers, faculty, and student mentors. Students take one First-Year Honors course together each semester, attend out-of-class meal meetings, and have the choice to live with other Honors students on a designated floor in one of Curry's residence halls. Participation in the First-Year Honors Program will be noted on students' Curry transcript. Please follow the link for much more information.
-
Honors Scholars is offered to sophomore and junior students whose cumulative grade point average is 3.3 and higher, and also to students who are personally sponsored through the GradPath option. The Honors Scholar program is open to continuing education students who can arrange a schedule to meet the regularly scheduled courses. Please follow the link for information.
