Applying for Financial Aid

If you have not considered it, now is a good time to think about applying for financial aid. We strongly recommend that all students apply for financial aid. You may be eligible for more than you expect! Applying for financial aid at Curry College is a simple process that can begin right now.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form is used to apply for all need based aid at Curry College. Need-based financial aid comes from many sources.  These sources include institutional funding, federal and state student financial aid, including grants, student loans and work study. In addition, the FAFSA is used by most states to award non-federal student financial aid. You can file the FAFSA online or via mail.

Apply Online!
The online process can be completed in about 3 days.

If you plan to apply online, students and family members can each obtain their own Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) at www.pin.ed.gov. The pin will allow students and families to electronically “sign” the FAFSA by inputting the PIN instead of requiring a printed and signed signature page.

After you and your parent(s) have received your PIN(s), go to www.fafsa.ed.gov to complete the FAFSA online.  You must list Curry College’s federal school code of 002143 in order for Curry to receive your information. The website will guide you through the process and significantly helps to reduce the risk of making an error! You will need your family income and asset information readily available as you complete the FAFSA. If you have questions about the FAFSA application, you can call the toll-free help line at 1-800-433-3243. Curry should receive your FAFSA information in about 2-3 weeks when you use the online application method.

Apply by Mail

Students can choose to complete the paper version of the FAFSA instead of the online method. Paper applications are available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. In order for Curry to receive your information, you must list Curry College’s Federal School Code of 002143. The paper forms must be mailed to the Federal Student Aid Processor in the envelope enclosed with the FAFSA application. It can take up to 4-6 weeks for Curry to receive your information if you use the paper FAFSA application.
