Our commitment to our international students includes individual attention to assure a smooth transition to college and life in the U.S., and to assist with your educational goals.
Requirements and Deadlines
To be considered for admission to Curry College, we require you to submit the following:
- A completed application (PDF) with a non-refundable fee of $50.00
- An official high school transcript, translated and evaluated, and if applicable, official GSCE examination scores
- A letter of recommendation from guidance counselor or high school teacher
- A college essay
- If you were schooled in the United States or in an American School abroad, you will be required to submit scores for the SAT, SAT 1, or ACT
- If English is not your first language, you will be required to submit results of TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) examination
International Student Advising
The role of the International Student Advisor at Curry College is to aid international students in the navigation of the U.S. government immigration policies. It is our goal to assist you in the interpretation of these complex regulations and to support you in the attainment and maintenance of legal status. The U.S. government requires all international students to meet strict eligibility requirements prior to being granted a student visa and also during their stay in the United States. For specific information pertaining to U.S. immigration policies and procedures, please refer to the government websites below.
Obtaining your I-20
Accepted students will receive their I-20 approximately two weeks after enrollment. Students must submit their Certification of Finance and completed International Student Visa Document Request Form (ISVDR) before an I-20 will be issued.
International Club
The International Club is one of the most popular and interesting clubs on campus. It is a unique blend of international and American students who are interested in learning more about the different cultures and lifestyles of fellow students.
