For Transfer Students

At Curry College, we value the experience and maturity that transfer students bring with them. With years of experience servicing transfer students’ needs, we offer a hassle-free process, consideration of as much transfer credits as possible, and a smooth transition leading to a quality education.

Requirements and Deadlines
As you explore enrollment at Curry College, the Office of Admission encourages you to visit the campus. To be considered for admission to Curry College, we require you to submit the following:

  • A completed application (PDF)  with a non-refundable fee of $40.00
  • An official high school transcript*
  • Results of SAT, SAT 1, or ACT*
  • A college essay
  • Official transcripts of all previous colleges attended.

*If you have completed more than 30 college credit hours, or have been out of high school for more than six years, you may submit a copy of your high school diploma in lieu of the high school transcript and SAT, SAT 1, or ACT.

Curry accepts transfer students two times a year—in the Fall (September) and in the Spring (January). Transfer students are accepted into the nursing program for the Fall (September) term only.

Awarding of credit
Curry College tries to award as much transfer credit as possible. Most courses taken at other colleges that have a grade of C- or higher will be accepted in transfer. Once you have been accepted to Curry College, we will send you a credit evaluation describing what courses have transferred. If it is important for you to know how many credits will transfer before you apply, you are welcome to contact the Admission Office to make an appointment with a transfer counselor.

Financial Aid
Financial Aid is available for transfer students who qualify. For more information, please visit the Financial Aid pages.
