Curry College offers seven varsity sports for male student-athletes – baseball, basketball, football, hockey, lacrosse, soccer and tennis.
Fall
During the fall, the Colonels compete in football and soccer.
In 2007, Curry won its fifth-consecutive NEFC Championship and made its fifth-straight appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Colonels defeated Empire 8 Conference Champions Hartwick College, 42-21, at home in the first round of the 2007 NCAA Championship and advanced to the Tournament "Sweet Sixteen." Curry, #19 nationally in the AFCA Coaches Poll, lost to the fifth-ranked Cardinals of St. John Fisher College in the second round.
First-year mentor Peter Mendel inherits a young soccer squad looking to improve on an 8-9-1 mark in 2006, the program's highest win total since 1995.
Winter
Curry’s winter sports programs, ice hockey and basketball, are among the strongest in the region.
In 2006-2007, the Colonels' ice hockey squad finished with a 16-9-2 overall record and a 13-1-1 mark in the ECAC Northeast.
In 2006-2007, Curry’s basketball team advanced to its first CCC Championship Game since 1986 and won a school record 16 games.
Spring
In the spring , the Colonels contend for post-season action in three additional sports – baseball, lacrosse and tennis.
In 2007, Curry's baseball squad won its first CCC Championship since 1997, and made its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance.
The Colonels’ lacrosse and tennis teams host their TCCC competitors at state-of-the-art facilities – Walter M. Katz Field and the “Big Nine” Courts.
