MCCREARY SIGNS PROFESSIONAL CONTRACT WITH THE SPHL'S HUNTSVILLE HAVOC
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - On March 21st, Huntsville Havoc Head Coach John Gibson announced that the team had signed defenseman and former Curry standout Bill McCreary. Through games of March 29th, McCreary has 2 goals and 4 assists in his first 7 games, and he is playing with former Colonels' standout Mike O’Sullivan, who currently has 50 points (21G, 29A) this season in 55 games played.
McCreary just finished his collegiate career at Curry College, leading the team in scoring with 41 points (12 goals, 29 assists) in 25 games. He earned Second Team All-ECAC Northest honors. McCreary also played for the Colonels during the 2005-06 season, netting nine goals and contributing seven assists in 13 games.
He transferred to Curry from Providence College, where he played from 2003-2005. McCreary played in 71 games for the Friars, scoring 13 goals and recording 14 assists. He is originally from Howell, Michigan.
