FORMER COLONELS' HOCKEY STANDOUT HAZELWOOD SIGNS ON WITH LAS VEGAS WRANGLERS
 
MILTON, Mass. - Former Curry College hockey standout Jeff Hazelwood has signed a professional hockey contract with the Las Vegas Wranglers, the ECHL Double AA affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes.

Hazelwood is a Dublin, California native, who will be entering the professional ranks after spending the past two years at Curry College. A forward, Hazelwood led Curry in his senior year with 25 goals, and 23 assists in 27 games. In 53 games over his junior and senior years, Hazelwood posted 43 goals and 93 points.  Last season, Hazelwood was named the ECAC Northeast “Player of the Year.” He was also honored as the school's "Male Athlete of the Year."
