JACKMAN NAMED AS TCCC SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

MILTON, Mass. - Curry College junior second baseman Kristen Jackman (Stoughton, Mass.) hit safely in seven of the Colonels’ eight games played in Florida over spring break, posting a .440 batting average (11-for-25) with one double, one home run, five RBI and five runs scored. Jackman struck out just once in 25 at bats and ended the Florida trip with a four-game hitting streak. The Curry Softball Team went 3-5 during its week in Orlando, with victories against Ohio Wesleyan, Skidmore and Finlandia.
