MACKAY AND HANSBURY EARN WEEKLY TCCC HONORS

MILTON, Mass. - Junior Nikki MacKay was named The Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season. She led the Colonels to a 2-0 mark in TCCC play by netting a total of 10 goals. MacKay found the back of the net five times each in wins over Salve Regina and UNE and also added a pair of assists in each contest. To go along with her 14 points Mackay also won four draw controls and snagged a pair of ground balls.

Sophmore Ashley Hansbury was named The Commowealth Coast Conference Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.  She came up huge for the Colonels as she averaged nine points per game in two TCCC wins this week. For the week Hansbury was an absolute force as she netted 14 goals, grabbed 11 ground balls, dished out four assists, won three draw controls, and caused a pair of turnovers. 

The Colonels have an overall record of 6-2 and are 2-1 in The Commonwealth Coast Conference.
