2009 COLONELS

A perennial contender in the highly-competitive The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC), Curry opens its spring schedule every March by playing eight games in Ft. Myers, Florida.

• In 2008, Curry’s softball squad was led by 13th-year Head Coach Bruce Weckworth, who ranks among the national leaders in Division III for career wins with more than 300.
• In 2007, the Colonels posted a 30-16 record overall and a 17-5 mark in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play. Curry advanced to the CCC semi-finals, but fell just shy of a conference title.
• The softball diamond was recently upgraded with new permanent outfield fencing and a warning track.
