Kathleen Lawler holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College and a master's degree in Maternal Child Nursing from Boston University. She is a clinical instructor in pediatrics and community health. She also works in pediatrics at Neponset Health Center in Dorchester. Kathleen has  taught at other colleges in the past as well as holding many other positions in pediatrics and community health. She is a member of the local Sigma Theta Tau Chapter. She is married and has five children.
