Lynn Abrahams has taught in the PAL program since September 1997. She is particularly interested in helping her students evolve into self-sufficient and self-aware learners. Lynn obtained her bachelor's degree in music therapy, then went on to obtain a master's in special education form Lesley College. Since 1982, she has taught learning-disabled students at the junior high, high school, and college levels. During seven years at Middlesex Community college, Lynn created the conducted a support group for learning disabled adults. Her background also includes two years teaching inmates at a County House of Correction in western Massachusetts. Lynn is certified as an educational therapist through the Learning Disabilities Network, and has a private practice working with high school and college students throughout the greater Boston area.
