Dr. Weiser hails from the town of Grimes, Iowa, and received his bachelor's degree from the Univeristy of Iowa in 1992. After a two-year stint as a Peace Corps volunteer (1993-1995), Dr. Weiser attended Texas Tech University, where he earned his Ph.D. in August of 2000. He spent one year as a visiting assistant professor of psychology at Whitman College in Washington before arriving at Curry College in 2001.

Dr. Weiser's primary areas of interest include social psychology, psychopathology, the emerging field of the psychology of the Internet, stress and health, and multivariate statistics.

When not thinking, reading, or talking about psychology, Eric enjoys writing, listening to jazz, anything having to do with computers, college football, weekend trips to Cape Cod, and (ever the galloping gourmet!) dining at a variety of unique Boston-area restaurants.
