Dr. Ann Leonard-Zabel is an Assistant Professor of the Psychology Department. In addition, she serves as a faculty advisor for students pursuing their internship in the field of Psychology. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts/Boston in 1979, a master's degree in Education from Bridgewater State College in 1981, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies Degree from the University of Massachusetts/Boston in 1991, and her Doctorate Degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1996. In addition, Dr. Leonard-Zabel completed course work in Paralegal Studies and post-doctoral graduate work in the field of Neuropsychology and Forensics.

Dr. Leonard-Zabel is a member of the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts School Psychologist Association and is an Executive Board Member of the American Board of School Neuropsychology. She holds several diplomat certificates and certifications in the field of Neuropsychology, Forensic Counseling, Clinical Counseling, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Disability Analysis.

Research interests include Neuropsychology, Forensics, and Learning Disabilities. Dr. Leonard-Zabel owns a private practice specializing in evaluations for learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, court-involved issues, and substance abuse.

In her spare time she enjoys reading, fishing, boating, traveling to new lands, listening to music, driving her car anywhere, hanging out with her husband, children, friends, and her adorable animals. She resides on Cape Cod.
