Director of the Master of Business Administration Program and
Professor of Management

Dr. Arch is Director of the Master of Business Administration Program and Professor of Management at Curry College, where she teaches international business, ethics and leadership. Prior to coming to Curry she was the founding Director of the MBA Program and Professor of International Business at Otterbein College in Ohio.  She also taught in the Management Department at the University of Houston.

Professor Arch received her Ph.D. from The Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University. She holds a master’s degree from Ohio State; she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Magna Cum Laude, from Wheaton College in Massachusetts with a BA in History; and she attended Dartmouth College on an exchange program. 

She has taught in undergraduate, MBA, Ph.D. and Executive Education programs and she has initiated international study programs, leading student seminars in Germany and the Czech Republic, Chile, Finland and Russia. 

She has wide experience in international activities with a focus on developing economies, having worked and lectured in Turkey, Hungary, Mexico, Chile, Morocco, Romania, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.  Her research interests focus on developing nations, technology transfer, and innovation.  Her current research concentrates on microfinance and economic development. She has authored numerous publications and she has received grants from the US Department of Education for research in Romania, among others.   She was a Midwest Universities Consortium for International Activities (MUCIA) Global Education Professor where she created a distance learning course for undergraduate business students in Malaysia; she has been a Fellow at the Institute of Diversity and Cross-Cultural Management; on the Board of the Governing Council of the Institute for Business Ethics and Public Issues; and Treasurer of the Global Futures Foundation. She is a native of Quincy, Massachusetts.
