John Murray is an Assistant Professor of English, specializing in nineteenth and twentieth century British literature and film, as well as critical theory. Recently, Murray has been offered a contract to publish his dissertation, Speech and Power Negotiations in Industrial Novels from 1849-1866. He is a graduate of Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, Harvard University, and University of Rhode Island.
