Sheryl Cifrino, DNP, RN, is an assistant professor in the Division of Nursing at Curry College.  She has worked as the Nursing Resource Center Director and taught in the lab since 2003.  She received her B.S. from Curry College and her Master of Science Degree in Nursing Education at Saint Joseph's College of Maine.  She is a 2010 graduate of the Doctorate of Nursing Practice Program at Regis College.  Her doctoral capstone area was healthcare informatics in nursing education. Sheryl's clinical areas of interest are pediatrics and the conceptual foundations of nursing practice. In particular she is interested in furthering clinical reasoning skills in nursing education through the use of simulation cases.
