Professor DeJong, Coordinator of Foreign Language and Director of the First Year Seminar, studied in Paris where she received a diplôme de la littérature comtemporaine from the Sorbonne.  In addition to teaching courses in French language and culture and the First Year Seminar, Professor DeJong is an Academic Advisor.  Curry has recognized her for Excellence in Academic Advising.  Her interests include reading, travel, and the theatre.  She is a member of the Milton Players community theatre and has performed in more than 25 productions.
