D-L Garren has been at Curry for over two decades. Teaming up with a handful of enthusiastic students, she built the curriculum and the varied, exciting program that is Curry Theatre. Prior to coming to the college, D-L spent six years, teaching and learning at Ohr Somayach Institutions, a seminary in Jerusalem. She also traveled extensively in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, shooting TravelVision, a travel-video series, and serving on a news team, in the war zone in Lebanon. In Paris, she worked on a film, Chantons Pendant L'Occupation, while studying French Culture at the Sorbonne.  In her spare time, D-L travels,  recruits talented theatre people to come and teach at  Curry, and does her best to keep in touch with her students, past and present.
