Returning student are required to pay a $300 deposit.
When is the housing deposit due?
Your housing deposit must be made in person by March 7 the latest.

If you pay your housing deposit by March 7 and participate in the housing selection process on April 2 or 3, we will commit to you.
What is a petition for exemption letter?
It is a petition letter that you will need to write in order to move from the north side to the south side based on age, or credits. Download Form (PDF)
What happens if I turn my housing deposit in late?
If you turn in your housing deposit late, you will be assigned to housing as space becomes available. Housing is not guaranteed.
What if I cannot attend housing selection?
You must fill out a proxy and have friend pick for you.
What is a proxy?
A proxy is a form that allows a student to pick a room for another student. The student picking the room must have the missing student's ID. Download Form (PDF)

The lottery number will be emailed to you.
When is the housing selection?
Housing Selection is Wednesday, April 2 for Singles and Suites, and Thursday, April 3 for the rest of campus housing.
Are the residence halls co-ed?
At Curry College, all of the residence halls are co-ed. Most low rises are co-ed by floor, which means that usually mean alternating floors of male and female. Double rooms are occupied by two students of the same gender (sex). Co-ed floors have a female-designated and male-designated bathroom.
What if I want a single room?
The Office of Residence Life uses the information on the new student preference housing form to create a waiting list for the designed singles on campus. Students must agree to pay the higher cost for a single. Spaces are filled using seniority and date of deposit and date of submittal of the housing preference form.
How can I request medical or disability accommodations?
If you require housing accommodations, you must put your request in to the Student Disability Services Office and they will contact the Residence Life with their recommendation. Download Form (PDF)
Will I be placed with a first-year student?
In general, first year students are assigned in a room with first-year students, and transfers are assigned in a room with other transfers, or with returning students.
When will I find out my housing information?
You will be receiving roommate, hall and room assignment information the first week in August.
Can I change halls or roommates?
Most hall or roommate changes will have to wait until the beginning of the following semester. Any room change requests should be discussed with your hall director.
What comes with my room?
Provided: Bed, mattress (33" x 80"), dresser, desk, desk chair, closet space, window blinds.
Am I permitted to have a refrigerator?
If you are bringing your own refrigerator, each room is allowed one refrigerator that is UL-approved with three-pronged plug, tight-fitting door gasket and unfrayed feeder line. The maximum size for student refrigerators is ? cubic feet. Refrigerators will be inspected by staff at check-in.
Do the rooms have cable TV?
Every residence hall room is equipped with one cable TV outlets. Because this service is included as part of the room chard, no extra charges are accessed. TVs and cable cords are not provided in the residence hall rooms. Most residence hall has a TV in a lounge for community use.

First-year students are not allowed to have cars on campus
Am I required to purchase a meal plan?
Yes, all students who sign up for on-campus housing are required to purchase a meal plan. Commuter students do not receive a meal plan unless they request one. Meal plan information is available on the Curry Website
