New Student Center

New Student Center at Curry College

The 84,000 square foot facility is now standing tall and welcoming its first wave of visitors. Construction began in March 2008 and is set to be fully completed in plenty of time for the incoming Class of 2013.

Since late May 2009, the college has been welcoming visitors during the final stages of construction and landscaping.  Students, parents, alumni, faculty and staff alike have been blown away by this state-of-the-art building.

This new student center is already connecting both the academic and the residential aspects of the college in unprecedented fashion and is beginning to serve as a hub of activity for the entire Curry community.

Staff offices are now being occupied.  The new fitness center, the bookstore and the post office and copy/supply center are open for business and  service has begun in the new dining marketplace.

Visitors have already remarked on the sheer size and capacity of the new gymnasium, the wonderfully designed Hallway of Champions, where Curry's Purple Pride will shine for all to see, and the bevy of plasma screen information kiosks lining the halls, which will connect the campus population like never before.

Work is also being completed on the outdoor amphitheater which will act as a staging ground for campus activities like concerts and comedy shows, impromptu gatherings of students, alumni, faculty and staff, or just a place to go and eat a quiet lunch or catch up on studies.

There is something for every member of the Curry community at the new student center - but don't take our word for it, come on down and check it out for yourself!
