Brenda Marrero - M.A. in Criminal Justice
Brenda Marrero '04, an active army reservist since 1990, had a bachelor's degree and was working as a bank teller before becoming an officer on the force of the Brockton Police Department. She desired a master's degree in criminal justice to reach a new level of excellence in her profession, and sought a program that would challenge her in a way that she hadn't been challenged intellectually in the past.
"I knew people who were attending Curry and believed that it was a school that challenged their students. I feel that I have learned more at Curry than I have learned at any other college I have attended. My Curry College degree has enhanced my career. I believe I am able to better communicate with citizens, co-workers, and supervisors."
