Littlefield Lecture Series Presents: Poet Jimmy "Dog" Cvetic
September 26, 2012
7:00 p.m.
Hafer Academic Building, Parents' Lounge
Curry College English Professor and Writer in Residence Bill Littlefield will welcome poet and retired Allegheny County Pennsylvania police officer Jimmy "Dog" Cvetic to campus on September 26 at 7:00 p.m. Cvetic will read from his recently published book of poetry, Dog Unleashed.
His rough and tumble, slice of police life poems, for which he has been called "Bukowski with a badge", are filled with black humor and bear witness to the full range of the human drama, from horrific tragedies to dark comedies of folly.
This event is open to the Curry College community. For more information, please call 617-333-2143.
