Millennial Workplace Expert Lindsey Pollak to Headline 5th Annual Curry College Senior Conference

The Curry College Center for Career Development is proud to present Senior Conference, a fantastic event designed to help graduating seniors prepare for their job search and transition to the professional world. The conference consists of several different opportunities for students to learn valuable information about how to prepare for the job search process. Senior Conference will take place on Friday, October 17, 2014 from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m.
The afternoon will begin in Keith Auditorium with keynote speaker Lindsey Pollak, best-selling author and one of the world's leading experts on training, managing and marketing to the Millennial generation.
Pollak's advice and opinions have appeared in media outlets such as the "Today" show, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, FOX Business, Glamour, CNN and NPR. She appears on several lists of "Best People to Follow on Twitter," including Mashable's list of top non-fiction authors. Forbes named her blog one of the "Top 100 Websites for Your Career."
Senior Conference worshop topics include: Mastering the Interview, What are Benefits?, What I wish I knew Then: Young Alumni Panel, Disability in the Workplace, Managing Money after College, Athletes in the Real World, LinkedIn Lab and more. Students will also have a professional headshot taken for their LinkedIn profile from 12:30-1:00 p.m.
Dave Littlefield '91, a.k.a the "Sausage Guy" will cater the Senior Conference reception.
