Margaret E. Kelley '34, the oldest living alumna of the Perry Normal School (absorbed by Curry College in 1974), passed away on April 3, 2012 at the age of 98.

1960-1969

Bob Weingard '64 retired in 2010 and moved from California to Maryland in 2012.

Philip Schwartz '65 and his wife, Lucille Beryl, have been members of the Kibbutz Deganya Bet in Israel since their wedding in 1970. Philip has been living in Israel since shortly after his graduation from Curry in 1965. Philip and Lucille are the proud parents of three children; Amit, Yaron and Talya; and the proud grandparents for four grandchildren; Lihi, Natalie, Tohar and Elian.

Rich Pilling '69 recently retired after 37 years as a professional sports photographer, the last 18 of which he spent as director of photographer for Major League Baseball.

1970-1979

Despite often reading that his classmates have retired, William Mellin '72, continues to enjoy his career and plans to work for many years to come. He writes, "Still having a son in college gives me some extra incentive to work!"

Diane (Looney) Ray '79 has found her calling in special education after years in early childhood education. She currently works as a personal care attendant for a six-year-old autistic boy. Diane writes, "I love every minute that I spend with him. He learns as much from me and I am learning from him. Each day is a challenge, yet  so rewarding."

1980-1989

Carrie Costa '80 has been married to her husband, Joe, for 23 years and they have two daughters. Rebecca, 19, is a freshman in college and Hannah, 16, is a sophomore in high school.

Glynnis (Diskin) LaRosa '83 is currently working as the senior public health nursing advisor at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health. Glynnis was elected president of the Association of State and Territorial Directors of Nursing (ASTDN). ASTDN is the premier national public health nursing organization for practicing public health nurses and public health nurse leaders. She is serving a one year term. Glynnis was recently accepted to the MSN program at Framingham State University.

Catherine (Lane) Lawson '87 has been working as a Montessori teacher all over the state of Maryland for the last 24 years. Her husband, Richard Lawson '89, has been working as a network administrator for a marketing company for the last 22 years. They have been married for 23 years and have two beautiful daughters. Their eldest is a freshman at Grove City College and their youngest, 13, is in eighth grade.

1990-1999

Gavin Spittle '93 launched a men's apparel website featuring mock sports teams, including the Boston Accents, the Cape Cod Scrod and the Las Vegas Snake Eyes. The site features 31 professionally designed mock teams.

Christina (Tamasi) Brown '97 and her husband welcomed their first child in February 2011. Christina is a stay-at-home mom to one-year-old Samuel Kellogg Brown and volunteers her time to different organizations aimed at helping mothers and children.

2000-2010

Angela (Lawson) Barnes '01 and her husband, Artie, welcomed their second child, Arthur, on April 20, 2011. He joins big sister, Caroline.

Leesa (Witt) Michael '01 gave birth to her second child, Emmalyn, on March 14, 2012. Later that month the family moved from RI back to MA.

Jeff Lang '02 recently partnered up with fellow alum, Tony Giannetti '02, and his granite countertop business, Rock Solid Tops. Their office is in Pembroke, MA and they are excited to grow their business together.

Lisa Irving '04 is a social worker at CeltiCare Health Plan in Brighton, MA. She works closely with health plan members to assist them in finding community resources all over Massachusetts. She is working toward her LCSW.

Caitlin (Gray) Brennan '05 married her high school sweetheart, Matt Brennan, in August 2011. She has been working as a sales representative at Burke Distributing for the past five years. The couple is currently living in Canton, MA and hope to buy their first home in the summer of 2012.

Lauren Frumkin '06 just became A+ certified and accepted a contract position as a PC technician at Raytheon.

James Lindelof '06 joined the Babson College police department as a patrol officer upon graduating from Curry and was promoted to sergeant in 2010. He is pursuing a master's at Westfield State University where he is a member of Alpha Phi Sigma, the national honor society for criminal justice. He was recently appointed as an officer for the Wellesley Police Department and will begin training at the police academy in June 2012.

Joseph Morabito '06 is currently working for Sony Pictures on 80 episodes of a new Nick-at-Nite show based on a popular telenovela. Filming has begun and the show is slated to premiere later this year on Nickelodeon's nighttime block.

Colleen Dunne '07 and Jason Collins '07 were engaged in July 2011. Their wedding is planned for October 2012. They look forward to sharing the day with their friends and families, including the five Curry alumni in the bridal party.

Lauren (Froug) Mayer '08 married David Mayer in March 2011 in south Florida. They currently live in Morristown, NJ.

Jillian DeAngelis '08 is an RN and has worked in the cardiovascular surgical/cardiothoracic transplant ICU at the Mayo Clinic for the past four year. In addition to her nursing role, she is also an ECMO specialist. She is currently pursuing a master's degree to become a family nurse practitioner and expects to graduate in July 2013.

Jennie Scappini '08 works as a program coordinator in the biochemistry department at Brandeis University. She has organized several events for the University's faculty, staff and students. In March 2012, Jennie was selected to be on the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital committee. This year marked the 5th Annual Starlight Dinner Dance in Waterbury, CT. She and the committee members raised over $35,000 for St. Jude and Jennie plans to continue her efforts to help increase awareness for St. Jude.

Patricia O'Connell '09 graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2011 with a master's degree in health law.

Stacie (Ross) Rote '09 lives in Apex, NC and works for WakeMed as a registered nurse in the special care nursery. She and Alex Rote '09 were married in Connecticut in 2011. Alex works as a merchandising assistant for MJ Soffe.

Kimberly Citelli '10 and Nicholas Liguori '10 got engaged in February 2012 and are planning a 2013 wedding.

Kristin Hubbard '10 recently started a new job at St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore. She had moved to Maryland in 2010 for her previous job at Maxim Healthcare.

Anna Lombardo '10 currently teaches preschool in Newton, MA, while enrolled in Suffolk University's M.Ed. program.

2011-

Anthony DeMarinis '11 has been working as operations manager of Charles J. King Scrap Metal Recycling in Brooklyn, NY since November 2011. He was hired to help the president expand the company and he is excited to take on opening a nonferrous warehouse this spring. Aside from his new passion for the scrap metal recycling industry, Anthony hope to find opportunities to volunteer and give back to the community, preferably by helping people with learning and developmental disabilities.

Brett Franklin '11 was recently hired as news director and on-air personality for Nassau Broadcasting's Vermont radio station cluster.

Stephanie Kulikowski '11 and Kevin Lucius '10 got engaged on Christmas Day 2011 and are expecting their first child in May 2012. Kevin opened his own business in August 2011.
