“I liked the small size and the feeling of community when I visited campus. By joining clubs and organizations, I learned how the process works and that you could start your own club, implement your ideas and create change.”

New Academy (Philosophy)
The New Academy is a club designed to allow students on the Curry Campus to meet in a non-classroom environment and discuss anything and everything of interest from a philosophic standpoint. The New Academy is student driven with the goals of meeting new people and working with new thoughts.
No subject is off limits to the New Academy, from the philosophy of movies and literature, to current events, to the age old debates of Justice, Truth, and Goodness. This mindset provides the club with essentially limitless possibilities of what meetings can consist of. While philosophy is the founding principle of the club, students from all majors and interests are welcomed and encouraged to join.
