Linda M. Caldwell
Dr. Linda M. Caldwell has been a member of the Nursing faculty at Curry College since 1983; she was Chairperson of the Division of Nursing from 1998 - 2012. During that time she led the development of the Accelerated Second Degree Nursing Program and the MSN /CNL program.
She is Board Certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and has expertise in urgent care, primary care, and occupational health. She has numerous publications and has presented at National and International conferences including China, Russia and Malta.
Dr. Caldwell currently serves a Chairperson of the CCNE Board of Commissioners, a nationally elected Board. She is a past recipient of the MaryAnn Garrigan Award from Sigma Theta Tau's Theta Chapter-at-Large for Excellence in Nursing Administration. In May 2008, Dr. Caldwell received the Curry College Faculty Achievement award.
She is a charter member of the Theta-at-Large Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing. She is a member of the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, the Society of Primary Care Fellows, and the American Nurses Association.
Dr. Caldwell holds a BSN from Northeastern University, an MS from Boston College, a Doctorate in Nursing Science from Boston University, and a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Study in Primary Care from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. Her interests include curricular innovations and the integration patient safety and quality concepts into nursing education.
