Karen D'Amato

Karen D'Amato currently teaches poetry writing and English composition at Curry College, Milton. An advocate for the arts on campus, she has organized many student readings and other writing events. Her past experience includes teaching middle school language arts and working as a poet-in-the-schools and as a museum educator at the Henry Wadsworth Longfellow House. Her poems have been published in numerous anthologies, including Grolier Prize, 1998, and have appeared in the on-line journals Del Sol Review and Perihelion. Karen has been teaching English at Curry since September 2001 and is the Curry Arts Journal Faculty Advisor and Editor.
