As Athletic Director, Eruzione oversees all of the Colonels' 16 NCAA Division III sports programs - football, baseball, softball, men's and women's soccer, women's cross country, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's basketball, men's ice hockey and women's volleyball - comprised of just over 400 student-athletes.

A 1984 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, Eruzione received an Economics degree and earned a total of 11 varsity letters - three in football and four each in hockey and baseball.

He graduated from Winthrop High School in 1979, where he was a standout three-sport athlete for the Vikings, and now a member of the Winthrop High School Athletic Hall of Fame. He also attended one year of prep school at Phillips Andover Academy where he played one season each of football, hockey and baseball before graduating in 1980.

Prior to arriving at Curry, Eruzione had a 13-year career as a public school teacher and coach working at his high school alma mater from 1985 to 1996, and at Chelsea Middle School and Thayer Academy.

Upon his appointment as Athletic Director on March 9, 2006 after having served six years as associate athletic director, Curry College President Kenneth K. Quigley, Jr. remarked, "During that time, like his predecessor and colleague Steve Nelson, Vinnie has worked hard and successfully to elevate the athletic program at Curry College consistent with the NCAA Division III policy of placing the highest priority on the overall quality of the educational experience, and on the successful completion of all students' academic programs."

Eruzione resides in his hometown of Winthrop, Mass. with his wife Anne and their four children, Vinnie, Catherine, Daniel and Jeana.
